Tenor David Greene is delighted to make his debut with Opera Festival of Chicago. A proud native of Chicago, David completed his studies in vocal performance at DePaul University.
His recent engagements include performances at the Chicago Symphony’s Overture Council salons and the festive Holiday Harmonies Salon. David also celebrated the season by releasing his first solo album, “Home for the Holidays,” showcasing classical interpretations of a collection of beloved songs from the holiday songbook.
Other highlights from David’s rich performance resume include collaborations with Musical Theatre Works, Chamber Opera of Chicago, City Lit Theatre, The Savoyaires and Theatre at the Center.
Notably, in 2020, David conceived and performed a nightly solo Balcony Serenade series during the Covid-19 lockdown in support of health care and front-line workers.
