Emily Wright is an American soprano residing in Chicago, Illinois. Emily’s operatic roles have included Prima sorella cercatrice/Suor Angelica, The Fish/Jonathan Dove’s Tobias and the Angel, Luciette/Milton Granger’s Bluebeard’s Waiting Room, Mean Girl, Snow/Clarice Assad’s The Selfish Giant, and Rosalinda/Act II of Die Fledermaus. She has also performed in the ensembles of Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah and the musical Carousel.
Emily received her M.M. in Voice Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. She received her B.M. in Voice Performance from the University of South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
