Jade Dashá is a Chicago based soprano who received her BM from Florida Southern College in 2019 and her MM at DePaul University in 2021.
Jade’s recent credits include; Pemphredo (We’ve Got Our Eye on You, Thompson Street Opera) Sally (Stone Soup, Opera Steamboat) and Miss Jones (Charlie and the Wolf, Cedar Rapids Opera). Jade has had the honor of being a young artist with Opera Festival of Chicago, Central City Opera and Opera Neo. She has also worked with Chicago based companies such as Chicago Opera Theater, Chicago Fringe Opera and Evanston Chamber Opera.
Jade has been recognized with several awards, including being named an Encouragement Winner at the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, a Farwell Trust Award recipient from the Musicians Club of Women and a Mason Young Artist with the Imperial Symphony Orchestra. She has additionally received the Casa Italia Josephine L. LiPuma Vocal Scholarship as well as the Adelaide Bishop Memorial Award at Central City Opera.
