
Bass-baritone, Vince Wallace, is a native of St. Louis, MO. He has been on the scene in Chicago for over 15 years now singing primarily at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Vince usually has contracts also with Chicago Opera Theater, Florentine Opera, Chicago Symphony and Grant Park Music Festival and Des Moines Metro Opera. For over a decade, Mr. Wallace has sung the national anthem for the Bears, Cubs, White Sox and Bulls as well as other college and semi-pro sports teams in the city. Vince performed at the Metropolitan Opera during the premiere of Terrance Blanchard’s opera Fire Shut up in my Bones which landed Mr. Wallace with an Academy Grammy award. He also has an Emmy for Lyric Opera’s production of Pagliacci.
