Master and PhD in Music Psychology and Performance, Andrei Liquer is a 30-year-old Brazilian concert pianist, collaborator and accompanist, choir conductor, music pedagogue and scholar in the field of music psychology and cognition. Prizewinner in 15 music competitions, including the first prize in the Villa-Lobos Music Competition, and best interpreter of Villa-Lobos work. Dr. Liquer has graduated in universities in Brazil, Canada and in the United States (including Artist Diploma at Roosevelt University), and has performed in important venues in North and South America and in Europe. He currently runs appearances in the Chicago and Illinois musical scenario in solo concerts, chamber music (including Chicago Symphony members), and as a collaborator/keyboardist in operas and musical theater productions. Dr. Liquer serves both as a church music director and conductor at Warrenvile Baptist Church, and as a piano faculty at New Music School.
