2023 Festival Season
The Opera Festival of Chicago will explore the themes of Power, Glory, and Betrayal when it presents its third season, July 6 to July 23, 2023 at venues across the greater Chicagoland area.
2022 Festival Season
This season we presented performances of Rossini’s “L’inganno Felice” and Verdi’s “Il Corsaro”. We also presented a special concert event celebrating the life and legacy of legendary soprano, Renata Tebaldi.
2021 Festival Season
A Chicago festival devoted to Italian operatic masterworks that rarely grace the stage in the United States was first conceived four years ago. Incorporated in 2019 only to have to push back the planned opening in 2020 due to COVID-19, our new company is thrilled to finally take the stage.
2020 Festival Season
The Opera Festival of Chicago launched its virtual season during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020. The organization presented a variety of virtual presentations about opera leading up to the premiere season in 2021.
