Mel Budreck

Melanie Budreck is a multi-disciplinary artist currently living in Park Ridge, Illinois. A graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a B.M. in vocal performance, she was most recently seen on stage in the “Operetta Around The World” benefit concert with Great Lakes Operetta. Melanie’s other recent credits include the roles of Wanda in The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein, Semele in Semele, and the soprano soloist in Rossini’s Stabat Mater. Melanie is a section leader in the PRCC Chancel Choir in Park Ridge and the music director/media designer for the Learn 6 Drama Club Program in North Chicago. Outside her artistic work, she is the founder of EGV Pride-an organization dedicated to LGBTQ+ advocacy in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
