Natalja Aicardi is an multidisciplinary artist from Italy; she’s worked as movement director and choreographer for musical theatre, new operas and children’s theatre around Chicago since 2005. She danced with The New Yiddish Dance Ensemble, Theatre Un Speak Able, CocoDanceGroup and Perceptual Motion Dance Company. In 2015 she graduated from Lecoq-based School for Theatre Creators, by Paola Colletto and devised various physical theatre works for festivals at IO Theatre, Stage 773,The Revival Theatre, Chicago Fringe Festival, Physical Theatre Festival and the Istituto Italiano Di Cultura. She toured her one woman cabaret show internationally and turned it, later into an art film.
Previous collaborations with George Cederquist include, “Sweeney Todd”, the new opera “Reagan’s children” at Northwestern University, “Trouble in Tahiti” at Chopin Theatre, “Woyzeck” at Stage 773 and “The Rosina Project”. Natalja is currently creating and performing healing performances with the Life Force Arts Ensemble. She is a teacher artist-in-residence at SIEF for preschoolers, a yogi, energy practitioner and mother.
