Zachary Mendenhall, a Chicago-based Bass-Baritone and Film Composer, is excited to work as a Young Artist for the Opera Festival of Chicago for this upcoming 2023 Season.
He will also be debuting the role of Bartolo, and covering the role of Figaro with the Chicago Summer Opera’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro. In addition to this, he will also be debuting the role of Mr. Kofner in Menotti’s The Consul with Third Eye Theater
Ensemble this September. Previously, Zachary can be recognized for his performance as Masetto in Don Giovanni with Ouroborus Opera Company, conducted by Mo. Alexis Enyart. His repertoire also includes the roles of Silvio (I Paggliacci), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas),
and Phoebus (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). When Zachary is not working, he is found enjoying time with his two adorable dogs, Josie and Winston, alongside his partner, Annie.
